Are you a small to medium sized local business? Do you work in the voluntary, charitable or social enterprise (VCSE) sector?

In conjunction with Inspire South Tyneside, South Tyneside Council offers a free-to-use, publicly accessible funding portal to allow small businesses and charitable and community organisations to find grants and funding opportunities, supporting them to carry out charitable activities and expand operations within South Tyneside.

The South Tyneside Community Funding Portal, also known as Open4Community (O4C), allows users to browse a funding database specifically tailored for small businesses and VCSE organisations working to uplift our communities, places, people and provisions.

All locally-based, small-sized community, voluntary or charitable organisations and small to medium sized business enterprises (with turnover of up to £1 million per annum) can register. You will need to enter your name, contact details, your organisation, and your organisation’s postcode. If your organisation isn’t based locally but still operates within South Tyneside and meets the criteria, you can sign up too!
